Celebrating Chinese new year

What an opportunity to explore the diversity of others and a culture which is fairly unfamiliar to most of our children! 2019 - the year of the pig was celebrated in style in St Michaels. Preparing and tasting new foods, playing in the Chinese restaurant and finding out about all the traditions and customs associated with Spring festival. We were fortunate to have a visit from the Confuscious Institute which showcased a celebration of music, dance and even a Lion dance!
